Plein Air

Plein Air painting is about the activity of being outdoors (out of the studio confined) and paintng from direct observation with the wind, heat, cold, rain, sun, clouds, onlookers and all the other things that can be outside with the artist. I have really enjoyed the practice and owe a debt of gratitude to the Impressionists and my 2015 summer school class for getting me out of doors so solidly. Enjoy.
